Aug. 12 /CSRwire/ -- Marsha Thornton, Fifth Third Bank vice president and director of supplier diversity, recently was named to the board of directors of the Financial Services Roundtable for Supplier Diversity.
This premiere member organization comprises more than 50 top U.S. financial institutions and insurance companies and is responsible for leading key supplier diversity benchmarking data, sharing best practices, making supplier introductions and referrals, and developing industry-specific requirements.
Thornton’s representation on this board will help maintain Fifth Third’s position as a leader in supplier diversity and provide the Bank the opportunity to continue to invest, expand and increase engagement with diverse suppliers.
